Sound Beach Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Shoppers: Stop By for a Test Drive and Find Exactly What You're Looking For
What We Love About Sound Beach, NY
You know you've arrived in a special place when a four-foot, smiling plaster tomato greets you at the business-district crossroads in downtown Sound Beach, a friendly Sound-side town. Sound Beach lies about halfway to Montauk on the northern shore of Long Island, and fortunately for visitors and residents still offers all the charms and serenity of a yet-discovered destination.
A stroll along the beach via a set of public-access stairways and walkovers offers a pleasant afternoon of sunning, swimming and general lazing about. Along the main drags of New York Avenue and Sound Beach Boulevard are several inviting eateries, including Sal Anthony's Pizza, Great Wall Chinese and the Sunny Deli. The Hartlin Inn provides food and friendliness in a rambling old house; the Is-A-Love Cafe at 245 Echo Avenue is a popular evening attraction, inviting guests to relax and enjoy the whimsically mismatched decor and a bit of stand-up comedy after dark.
With just under 8,000 residents, this quiet hamlet along Route 25A lies well beyond the summertime hustle and bustle of more renowned Long Island communities to the east. Sound Beach makes for a great off-the-beaten path, afternoon-drive destination; you can navigate the quiet streets easily, park close to the beach walkovers, and explore a series of low bluffs facing the Sound. Although winter storms regularly strike this coast, the residents diligently rebuild the beach infrastructure, giving residents ready access. The town also allows for casual biking if you bring along the two-wheelers as well as some open space and a public playground for the kids to run.
If you're traveling in the northern reaches of Suffolk County, grab a good map or fire up the GPS, navigate to the town of Brookhaven, and join Country 25A for a jog into Sound Beach. This hamlet is one of those human-scale, out-of-the-way places where creative day-trippers can create some pleasant memories without the usual stress and strain of a major vacation destinations.

My Review Of Port Jeff Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram:
After extensive research for purchasing my new Durango I ended up at Port Jeff Chrysler Jeep Dodge. My sales person Pat Ryan was helpful and knowledgable.I felt I received a very fair price. Pat and Adam were very patient and helpful.Everything promised on the phone and in person was delivered as promised. The service staff has been equally as helpful but admittedly I have only come in only for some oil changes. So far I am very happy.
