An available 2.0-liter turbo I4 generates 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The Rubicon 392 trim gets its own engine, a 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 with 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The base engine can pair with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission; the other engines only get the automatic. Every Wrangler comes standard with four-wheel drive.

- Rubicon X: Builds on Rubicon with steel bumpers, front Warn winch, three-piece hardtop, Alpine premium sound system, extra safety tech features, and leather upholstery
- High Altitude: Similar feature set as the Rubicon X, minus the premium off-road upgrades of the Rubicon
- Rubicon 392: Builds on Rubicon X with V8 engine, performance brakes, two-inch suspension lift, and Fox shocks.
