The new 2019 Jeep® Cherokee boasts a new, authentic and more premium design, along with the addition of a new, advanced 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine that enhances performance and fuel efficiency.

New for 2019

• The 2019 Jeep Cherokee receives an all-new 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder  (I-4) engine - one of the most technologically advanced engines in the automotive industry, which optimizes premium performance and fuel economy with greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction enabler (270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque)
• Fuel economy improvement (versus V-6 engine)
• Improvement in 0-60 mile per hour (mph) acceleration
• An all-new front design, including front fascia, hood, premium LED headlamps, daylight running lamps and fog lamps:
• New front lightweight aluminum hood evolves the Cherokee's unique waterfall grille design to more closely align with the latest Jeep brand styling
• New front bi-LED projector headlamps incorporate signature Cherokee daytime running light feature now as a singular component
• New rear features include lightweight composite and handsfree power liftgate, and integrates license plate with more prevalent position
• Interior receives new available High Gloss Piano Black, complemented by premium Satin Chrome tracer accents around the radio, air vents and gear shifter bezels, creating a tailored and harmonious look
• Increase in rear cargo storage space of four cubic feet
• Retuned suspension packages for improved ride comfort
• Jeep Active Drive I features an all-new design that reduces weight by 17 pounds and enhances the efficiency of the next-generation rear drive module (RDM). Also, reduces low-speed system drag torque by 50 percent, which improves fuel savings
• 2019 Jeep Cherokee receives the latest Uconnect systems that include easy-to-use features, enhanced processing power, faster start-up times and touchscreens, which display high-resolution graphics, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto software
