The J D Powers APEAL Study, now in its 22nd year, measures how gratifying a new vehicle is to own and drive, based on customer evaluations of 77 vehicle attributes of new 2017 model-year vehicles. Customers are surveyed after 90 days of ownership at the same time as J.D. Power’s IQS. According to J.D. Power, the most appealing vehicles have greater owner loyalty, command higher transaction prices and spend less time on dealer lots before purchase.

The Chrysler Pacifica received several honors at the annual Family Car Challenge hosted by the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association (GAAMA). The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid was honored with overall Best Family Car and Best Technology Family Car, while the Chrysler Pacifica was named Best Three-row Family Car. The Chrysler Pacifica reinvents the minivan segment with an unprecedented level of functionality, versatility, technology and bold styling.

"The Jeep Compass and Grand Cherokee Trailhawk faced tough competition at the Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year Competition, but took the crown for Best Compact Utility Vehicle and Premium Utility Vehicle,” said Tuan Huynh, NWAPA Mudfest Event Chair. “Jeep vehicles are renowned for going off the beaten path and this duo’s extreme off-road capability with competent on-road performance earned the votes of Northwest Automotive Press Association members."
 
 

The all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica has been named the best minivan in Popular Mechanics’ annual Automotive Excellence Awards.

Confirmation came today from FCA US of the next phase of its industrialization plan by announcing a total $1 billion investment in plants in Michigan and Ohio, and the addition of 2,000 new American jobs.
